Head of Primary Message Week 1

We are thrilled to share that our first week back at school has been a great success. The energy and enthusiasm from our students has been truly inspiring, and we are so proud of the way they have adjusted to the new school year. 👏 👏

From engaging in classroom activities to making new friends and settling into routines, students have shown incredible resilience and positivity. We’ve witnessed a lot of learning and laughter and we are excited for what lies ahead.

As we continue to build on this strong start, I want to acknowledge the important role every family plays in their child’s success. The support and encouragement at home has clearly made a difference, and we are grateful for your continued partnership.

It's been a busy first week 🤩

This week Year 6 have been exploring and finding examples of living and non-living things, Year 5 have been writing science fiction, Year 4 have been using part whole models in Maths, Year 3 have been building family trees, Year 2 have been working with tens and ones, Year 1 have been building letters, Reception have had their first PE and Swimming lessons, Kindy have been exploring the sensory table, and Pre Kindy have completed their first week at school. 🥳

To ensure that families are well-informed and equipped to support their child’s learning, I am pleased to share with you a comprehensive overview of our curriculum for this term.

This curriculum overview will provide you with insights into what your child will be learning in each subject, the key skills they will be developing, and the major projects that will take place. Our goal in sharing this information is to keep families informed and involved in their child’s education, as we believe that a strong home-school partnership is essential for student success.

By reviewing the curriculum overview, families will have a better understanding of the topics their child will explore, allowing them to reinforce these concepts at home.

Please do not hesitate to message in Seesaw if you have any questions or if there is anything we can do to support your child’s learning.
